Learn about the history of beer and the science of beer bubbles with Stephen Holle from the Kansas City Bier Company.  In the first part he will answer questions such as:  How is carbonation created and how does that lead to a lasting head?  Why does Guinness have a creamy head?  What are the gas laws that determine how to dispense beer and what techniques aid in the formation of a beautiful head on a glass of beer? And just why are bubbles so important to beer flavor?

In the second part of the presentation, learn about the cultural political, economic, and scientific influences on how beer has evolved into its current form.
